Tara Eytcheson, MSW, LCSW
Founder & Owner of The Counseling and Wellness House, LLC
*Tara is currently not taking new patients*
Tara is a licensed psychotherapist who earned her Master's Degree in Social Work at Indiana University. She has experience in individual, family, couples, and group therapy. During her practice, Tara learned from clients the strong connection between body, mind, and spirit and the neglect that traditional therapy demonstrates in treating these areas in an integrated treatment approach. She then was inspired to open her own practice with the focus on overall wellness to help better achieve success for her clients. Tara holds the belief that our mental health and our physical state are connected, as we hold stress, anger, grief, depression, anxiety and traumatic memories in our bodies.
Tara specializes in areas of depression, anxiety, and other mood disorders, as well as relational/family issues and grief and loss, using evidence based treatments. She has gained training in EMDR, natural health, mindfulness, art therapy, and equine therapy.

Guidance, from an outside party, can help us explore our deepest and darkest wounds. Through this exploration, we may discover how beautiful each one can be if we allow them to heal. After all, who would we be without them?
As I continue my self journey with Tara, she never lets me forget the validity of my feelings nor the value of myself.
